Nigel studied `A' level Design in Quorn using many different mediums including silver and gold before achieving a seven year apprenticeship with a local jewellery designer.

Nigel launched his own jewellery design workshop NIGEL DAKIN JEWELLERY here in Leicester in 1983.

The New Walk workshop with showroom was opened in 1986 in the Victorian heart of Leicester. Nigel has for almost twenty years been designing a consistently high quality range of jewellery whilst meeting the needs of individual commission customers.

His extensive and varied jewellery range may be viewed in the workshop showroom during business hours.
